LA-based singer and songwriter Jacari has been making music for almost a decade- and while writing and producing for other emerging musicians in his locale, he was building his own reputation as an artist. With 2 albums under his belt and an upcoming tour in the works, he shares the single "Robbery" to keep fans enthused till the next project.
The song is a guitar-lick-driven trap track that slowly builds into a thumping, hard-hitting cut ripe with pulsating 808s underpinned by Jacari's animated melodic flow. He sounds in his element as he embodies the exuberance of a young man getting his bag and trading shots with the opposition and flexing on the detractors. He employs a smooth cadence and memorable melody that listeners can easily identify, making the song extra engaging.
"Robbery" is taken from the forthcoming album It’s a Lonely Road. The project aims to detail the young rapper's life, personal challenges, and hurdles he had to face to get to where he is now. Jacari says that while things may be challenging, you should never give up on your dreams. “Your craft and passion are worth it, no matter what,” says Jacari.
