CVIRO & GXNXVS channel a classic sound on new single, “Too Much” [Video]

Vocalist and producer duo CVIRO & GXNXVS combine forces on latest release, “Too Much.” The accompanying visual explores the various love affairs between the two artists. The track has a classic soulful R&B sound that incites a shoulder shimmy and two-step.

“Too Much” has a rhythmic sound reminiscent of 2000’s R&B. The light guitar strums, claps, and slight bass give the single an upbeat melody for CVIRO’s sultry vocals. He harmonizes the catchy chorus, “It’s a little too much.” While CVIRO is seen as the main character in the music video, GXNXVS hangs out nonchalantly in the background. The beat is a poetic representation of his work, making it impossible not to bop along to the tempo.

The single is the standout track off the duo’s most recent EP release, Come On In. CVIRO & GXNXVS create the perfect mix of a nostalgic and present-day sound stating, “If the vibes don't feel like 00s R&B, we don't want it." With each harmonious verse and drop of the beat, they showcase their underrated talents worthy of mainstream stardom.

I am a digital marketer and publicist with a passion for A&R and music management. Originally from Southern California, I spent many years as a transplant in the Midwest in the St. Louis and Chicago areas. Now I am back in sunny Los Angeles. Besides my professional life, I enjoy music of all genres with a sweet spot for hip-hop/rap. I love my west coast rap and all things Tupac, Kendrick, Nipsey, etc. I am always down to go to a show, whether the venue be the smallest hole in the wall or the largest arena.
