Alabama rock act Salvo delivers passionate 14-track album The Traveler, striking a fine balance between complex composition and infectious, enjoyable vibes, that make it the kind of record you can have on repeat to discover new nuances with each listen.

Many of the band’s members were part of 90s pop-punk band Pain, and in their foray as Salvo they capture the introspective lyricism of their previous outfit combining it with s a signature catchy instrumentation and melodic delivery that highlights a new sonic maturity to appeal to older fans and new alike.

Featuring vibrant, rocking tracks like “Crime of the Century,” and “Anything Can Happen Day,” the album sees the band re-form after a much-needed hiatus and emerge sonically stronger with frontman Dan Lord and guitarist Adam Guthrie bring a host of both veteran bandmates and new talents to craft music that spread across generations of music lovers.
