Ericdoa has released his fourth single, "fool4love," off of his forthcoming project. The artist and producer has been creating consistently desirable work over the past three years. Since dropping two back to back albums in 2020, he's been consistently releasing a plethora of his own music including a breakout collaboration with another rising artist, glaive. The latest single, "fool4love," was released in the last week of February, however, he and his team dropped the accompanying music video just last week.
The suspenseful music video was directed by LA-based director ayodeji. Ericdoa searches for a mystery rendezvous throughout an empty skyscraper on a dark cloudy day. Though the video is desolate and gloomy, the production value of this track isn't particularly coherent in sound – being amplified and upbeat. The melodic rapping ability of the small-town Connecticut artist is on tasteful display over happier guitar plucking notes and banging percussion, a production mostly undertaken by Eric himself, along with his producer Glasear.
"fool4love" follows up the single "strangers" and his contribution to the latest hit-television show Euphoria's soundtrack with his song "sad4whattt." The project is also said to feature Soundcloud rising star SoFaygo. Last week, Ericdoa announced his upcoming headline tour, Things with Wings Tour, and the tickets are already on sale.
