UK-based production duo Team Salut returns with a new single "400%" which continues their knack for crafting hypnotic afro-infused party tunes. On the heels of their previous smash "Boom Bam," the duo cook up a bass-driven and sparse catchy tune ripe with their distinct minimal vocal style. Mr. Wood and GPK hold it down on vocal duties with simple phrases and quips entrenched in west African and UK culture. As they say, simplicity goes a long way and the duo really understand the assignment with this offering. Team Salut’s 400% is the first in a series of releases, set to see the levels of enjoyment increasing each time.
Team Salut is an Afro-Electronic duo composed of Glenard Kojo Patnelli (GKP) and Gabriel Kweku Wood (Mr Wood) began by writing and releasing their own music, whilst collaborating with an array of artists to curate what was to be their sound. The duo soon began to produce for heavyweight acts including Wale, Davido, and Patoranking. However, Team Salut would later gain international recognition by producing the smash hit Eugy and Mr. Eazi's "Dance for Me" in 2016. The powerhouse soon advanced their international takeover, with productions such as Afro B's "Drogba (Joanna)" and Yxng Bane's "Vroom" in 2018.
