Italian/Filipino emcee Thomas Iannucci takes things "Back Home" for his first single for the year 2022. The lyric-dense track produced by his longtime collaborator Joe Ayinde packs a punch with its layered reflective soundscape and crunchy drum breaks. Iannucci gives listeners a quick and detailed run-through of his life as a Hawaiian rapper and the numerous hurdles he had to overcome to make it outside the island. He is also joined by DMV artist foggieraw who shares his own story and comeuppance. Both emcees sure give a unique and nuanced tale that everyone can relate to over the nostalgia-inducing soundscape laid before them.
"Back Home" is Iannucci's lead single for the year and serves as a follow up to his last project The Illyinde Project which came out last year.
