Rotterdam rapper, singer, and producer Kay Slice, share the video for his single "Breeze" as he prepares to drop his debut LP early in 2022. Prior to this, Kay Slice had dropped Take A Slice, a series of music releases to keep his name on the lips of music lovers. "Breeze" is an uplifting and summer-inspired record that sees Slice paying tribute to his mother and everyone who helped nurture him from a boy to the man that he is now.

Armed with his smooth flow and catchy melodies, Slice delivers a refreshing feel-good track that listeners can rock to and it's a solid addition to your inspiration playlist as well. The self-produced track sees him working with guitarist Bora, keyboardist Willem T Hart, percussionist Peter Somuah while Charmain Charlemagne assists with the backing vocals.

The accompanying music video for "Breeze" speaks directly to this inspiration and desire that Kay Slice expresses. It was shot in Aburi Botanical Gardens in Ghana and directed by burgeoning Accra-based cinematographer Edward Pappoe, who help bring the relationship and connection between a mother and her young son to life. The timeless century-old botanical garden also provides the perfectly calm, peaceful, and vibrant backdrop to bring the track and its message further to life, which Kay Slice describes via email as “the perfect fit for this song”.

"Breeze" is Kay Slice's lead single from his forthcoming debut LP scheduled for a 2022 release. He recently performed on the biggest Dutch TV entertainment show De Wereld Draait Door, and is now on a mission to spread his unique blend of hip-hop, soul, Ghanaian groove, Afrobeat, and highlife across the global stage.
