After wooing fans with his folk-trap emotive debut, “Did Me Wrong”, Terry Presume is turning the heat (and volume) up with the animated “Zaza and Some Runtz”.
“Zaza and Some Runtz” is a psych-rock track that skids and glitches in the most perfect way possible. It shows Presume breaking through molds as he floats on cloud nine. Following suit with his debut track, the Haitian-American artist continues to apply the pressure and challenge notions of the boxes society places Black artists in. Complete with fish-eye lens angles, distorted breaks, and an energetic drumline, Presume is demonstrating just how effortlessly he, and other anomalies, can excel in any and every musical playing field.
