Cait Harris got her "6ix" covered

Emerging Louisiana native Cait Harris started out by covering acts ranging from Janet Jackson, Snoh Aalegra, and more. She got a big start in 2017 when she opened at the acclaimed Republic venue and was requested by Anderson .Paak to perform At The Park concert in Los Angeles. She hasn't looked back since and is presently working on her solo full-length debut with "6ix" being the lead single.

The track sees her working with Chris Hayes, a New Orleans native, and Ivan Jackson of Brasstracks. From the first play, it's certain you will be in for a ride as the warm textures, lush keys, and crunchy drums hit the eardrums. Harris vocals are quite distinct and the sublime melody sticks like white on rice. On one hand, she is dealing with an emotional problem and on the other she found her mojo knowing she has solid friends to count on. She reflects on the fledgling relationship and knowing it's going nowhere she naturally finds her way out with quickness. Sonically Hayes did an excellent job and with the help of Jackson, the track really prods Harris's vocals to the forefront.

For those willing to move on, "6ix" is the perfect track for that so add it to your weekend playlist.
