Zerdle Bandz aka PackMan caught our ears last year with his introductory track “Zwervin,” which showcased the artist's personalized lyrics and catchy melodic flows. On his new release titled "Wanted," he teams up with producer JPSoundz for a bouncy and somewhat reflective tune that once again dives into personal struggles.
"Wanted" sure packs a punch with its throbbing bassline, snapping trap drums, and a melancholic synth-like flute that plays throughout the song. All these serve as Bandz' canvas to paint a somewhat somber story of his own drug addiction and the over-glorified lifestyle of the streets. He pours his emotions on wax with lyrics like "I just wanna feel happy, all I be is broken/Pill popping, seal sipping, meal rocking, deal flipping, road running, still in it" as he looks for a better tomorrow. He sure gives a unique performance with his carefree, unassuming flow and at times we can hear the shakiness in his voice which might allude to his longing for connection as he drowns in a sea of personal demons.
