West Coast lyricist Pawz One and German producer DJ Dister put out their collaborative project, Watch & Learn early this year and now they are back with the pugilist themed video for their song "World Champion." The track is bolstered by an anthemic texture with classic dancehall vocal samples. Pawz One's vocal delivery packs a one-two punch as the rapper leaves nothing to chance and warns his opposition with lines like,"You ain't a challenge, you should get it on your brain/He's a master of the stick and move, critically acclaimed."
The music video ties directly into the theme of the song and director Mighty Muds helps bring it to life with a cinematic progression. The visuals follow the daily regiment of a young champion who is fully dedicated to the sweet science. From shadow boxing to endurance pad drills and more, the video lends its strengths to the statement that it takes daily practice to be a true champion in whatever it is that you do.
