Infamous Mobb speak on police brutality on "Can't Breathe"

Queensbridge, New York's very own trio Infamous Mobb share their thoughts on the delicate issue of police brutality and discrimination on their new single "Can't Breathe." Made up of Big Twins, Ty Nitty, and God Father Pt. III, the Qboro veterans are known for their gritty raps and now they take it a step by giving listeners their own candid perspective on this ongoing issue that affects black folks.

As the title suggests, the track is a politically charged protest anthem produced by Cali beatsmith, Twiz the Beat Pro who crafts a moody melancholic backdrop for the trio. One after another, the emcees bare their fangs and leave no stone unturned with their unapologetic stand. Big Twins shares his frustrations with lines like "I wish I was there, so I can help him out/ I can feel his pain while he's screaming out/ the statistic show it's a genocide/ I gotta keep my little man right by my side," while Ty Nitty implores listeners to arm themselves with knowledge despite everything being gloomy. The track is tied up by God Father Pt. III's laidback chorus that ends on a grim note, "Protect your life and beware of that blue shield/I can't breathe."

"Can't Breathe" is taken from the trio's forthcoming IM3 LP due out at the start of 2021. “Can’t Breathe” is available now through all digital retailers and streaming platforms via Grimey Records.
