Duckwrth and KIAN go for something soulful and “Quick”

Duckwrth keeps hitting the mark with his eclectic blend of alternative hip-hop. On his new single "Quick" he teams up with fellow Republic Records label mate singer KIAN for a smooth one-two punch.

"Quick" sees Duckwrth in his zone as he delivers sing-songy verses over the rollicking guitar-driven, head-nodding beat reminiscent of The Neptunes. The Brooklyn emcee also gets his mack on with lines like "…I might just buy you a rock, pass you the rock. cos you MVP on my rooster/ get you a crib, buy you a block, feeling hot like a rasta…" while KIAN seals the deal with a sultry catchy chorus. The chemistry between the duo is evident and nothing feels forced here as they treat us to some good old feel-good funk-soul that is ideal for a summer cookout.

Besides preparing to drop his LP, Duckwrth has also launched a weekly NTS radio show SuperGood Nights. The show airs every Friday up to August 28th at 8-9 pm PST
