Silsbee, TX singer-songwriter Hannah Read, better known as Lomelda, arrives with her extensive new single "Wonder." It’s lifted off her newly announced album, Hannah, due out September 4th, 2020. “Wonder” is also accompanied by its Regina Gonzalez-Arroyo directed music video.
On “Wonder,” Lomelda conjures up feelings of another kind. It’s a sort of confessional track regarding the sentiments found in giving it your all. Driven by divine melodies and channeled by Read’s country-tinged delivery, “Wonder” proves to be a healing mechanism. It’s reflective and poignant with stark beauty every absorbing step of the way. While the journey is relatively short clocking in at just two minutes and eleven seconds, “Wonder” is still a spellbinding interval of warmth and serenity surely worth the trip time and time again.
"Wonder is about working hard," said Lomelda via email. "It is my most fun song to play. And I got to play drums on it, so it's my favorite Lom song forever. May it motivate you to move and smash like it does me."
The 14-track Hannah LP will follow-up Lomelda's 2019's M for Empathy via Double Double Whammy. Prior to that she released the albums, Thx in 2017 and 4E in 2016.
