Esbie Fonte’s new single “Your Dad’s Banjo” is a slice of electro-pop heaven

Esbie Fonte’s ethereal new single “Your Dad’s Banjo” is a heartfelt ode to her father. Showcasing sparkling soundscapes and dreamy layered vocals, the track radiates with passion and grace. She revealed in her press release, "Your Dad's Banjo is my first collaboration with my dad! He taught himself to play every string instrument except the harp, and was my biggest inspiration growing up. This song is dedicated to him.”

Fonte has always looked up to her multi-instrumentalist father. Watching him perform at gig’s around town and in-home sessions, she developed a strong adoration for music. Honing in on her extraordinary craft, she’s bringing it back to where it all began, with this personal and emotive release.

Creating a unique aesthetic of a '50’s housewife with modern-day grit, it’s an era that’s always resonated with the songstress. This imaginative style is reflected throughout her musical artwork as well as a variation of other decades. From her eccentric image to her stunning delicate vocals, she’s a stand out artist, in a lane all her own.
