Moreno Valley, California rapper Indika Sam explores how crazy the dating scene is on her new record "What Love Is."
The young gun doesn't shy away from her stoner persona and that attribute sure shines throughout the record, where she delivers an emotion-driven performance that borders between nostalgia and gradual jadedness. Sam sheds light on a handful of situations that many can relate to as she looks at how dealing with many women can eventually lead to a lack of empathy, but on the flip-side, she can't stand to be lonely. She readily admits her faults when it comes to dating but she is far from totally giving up on love. Sam doesn't hide behind any facade and delivers her emo-rap with passion, and being backed by a lush atmosphere surely helps to augment the feelings. "What Love Is" is one of many singles coming from Sam this year as she prepares to drop a new EP.
