I can confidently say Pop Smoke is the hottest new-age rapper emerging from New York. His unique sound paired with his authentic image has elevated his music career to unshakeable heights in less than a year. In 2019, Pop Smoke had dropped his debut album Welcome to the Woo, secured verses from veteran rap legends like Nicki Minaj and Skepta, and was even featured on Travis Scott’s newest project JACKBOYS.

In addition to a phenomenal debut year, the 20-year old Brooklyn-based rapper has gained over 30 million streams on his iconic club anthems "Welcome to the Party" and "Dior". We got a chance to catch up with the emerging star at the Rolling Loud LA festival to chat some more about his newfound success and what’s next to come.
