What's better than one Smino holiday track? Two Smino holiday tracks. The St. Louis rapper release a two-track EP High 4 Da Highladays, right in time to boost the festive spirit. The EP is only 6 minutes long and includes a feature from Masego and creative producer, Monte Booker. The animated rapper is tongue-tied on the smooth, jazzy "Sleigh". Asking Santa Claus "where the weed at?" over thumping 808s and what sounds like reindeer bells, is something I never knew I needed until now. Jazz-influenced singer, Masego adds another layer to the track with a velvety smooth verse and blares from the saxophone. "Kushmas" is the ultimate holiday stoner track. The production is stripped to just a guitar riff and drum taps. It's hard to tell if this is an ode to that special lady in his life or that beautiful sticky green – pretty sure it's the latter. Rick James would be proud.
The new pack comes after two solid singles "Reverend" and the catchy "Trina" from the Atlanta Clauss himself. Hopefully this keeps you warm during this holiday season.
