Supergroup KINGDEM recently put out their debut 4-track eponymous EP rooted in each member's legacy to the UK hip-hop canon. From the calm flow of London Posse affiliate and Godfather of British hip-hop, Rodney P, the insightfulness of Ty to the colloquial hip-hop geezer, Blak Twang, the trio bring a new refreshing take on rap to the forefront. On the closing song titled "Rhino," KINGDEM takes it back to the fundamentals with dope rhymes, solid lyricism, and captivating verbal performances. Each member comes through with his own unique style of rap while baring their thoughts for the listeners to feel.
The visuals are really lit and focus on each member at a certain time during the day. Blak Twang's shot has a sunny afternoon vibe, Rodney P's morning shot is backed by a heavy Graffitied backdrop while Ty takes us deep into the night in various spots. "Rhino" is taken from the trio's The KINGDEM EP and features production from Blakzilla, Chidi Digital, and Nutty P.
