Signed to touchstone psychedelic-bass label WAKAAN, G-Rex and Sully turn friendship into fire with their latest collaborative track.
Inked to Liquid Stranger’s record label WAKAAN, “Clique” is G Rex and Sully’s matte black bass house collaboration. After two solo EPs, collaborations with Ghastly, YOOKiE, and TYNAN, and most recently an official remix for Excision, it comes as no surprise that G Rex's work on “Clique” is a treasure trove of impressive sounds. While it's easy to regurgitate the same stale sounds, he instead ushers in a new era of cold-blooded bass. In turn, Sully comes as a rising bass musician and valued student at LA’s Icon Collective. Known for his melodic approach to heavy hitting electronic music, the young talent is quickly picking up steam across the nation.
A sinister treat swathed in daring rhythms, "Clique" is a long-time friendship manifested into a festival-ready artifact. At the heels of Sully’s debut EP Break The Floor, this magnetic cut is dripping in a polished, narcotic bass that pulls listeners into a trance-like state.
