Find faith in C. SHIROCK's 'Lost To The Night'

C. SHIROCK has released his latest single “Lost To The Night,” a track with a deep vulnerability and intense, aching tone. The stunning track details reconciliation with a loved one and showcases impassioned falsetto, glistening soundscapes and honest lyricism of love and hope. Co-written and produced by Thomas Doeve, the track was written about his brother, who he hadn’t seen or talked to in a few years.

SHIROCK shares, "He told me the heartbreaking story about how his brother had disappeared and abruptly cut off communication with his family after suffering with PTSD from his experiences in the military. As we talked and processed the situation, we started asking, 'if we had a chance, what would we say to someone we’ve lost?'"

SHIROCK is Chuck Shirock, former frontman for acclaimed band SHIROCK. C. SHIROCK’s music is a progression from his prior work with a strong sense of power and emotive transparency. Driving rhythms and soaring melodies are the anchor for his intelligent pop music with the essence of David Bowie and Peter Gabriel.

Continuing to craft a unique sonic fusion with his new project, he describes his songwriting as personal and genuine, "whether it’s capturing a feeling, or telling a specific story, it’s always based on my own life. If it doesn’t come out of my own emotional experience, it feels inauthentic and I don’t feel connected to it”.
