While keeping busy releasing under his alias ATLUS, Glasgow-bred producer Denis Sulta has returned for the continuance of his legacy, giving fans a glimpse into his forthcoming 8-track EP Aye Spoake Te Sumwuhn & They Listenhd, releasing via Ninja Tune.

Releasing on November 8th, the EP chronicles Sulta's vulnerabilities and raw emotions—a deeply personal compilation inspired by the people and places who have guided and nurtured him on the path to where he is today. To begin, he has shared a track from Aye Spoake Te Sumwuhn & They Listenhd.

"Matthew Keeps Me Pirrie" is a "celebration of the realization of what it is to be yourself, or at least, whoever you are in that moment," explains Sulta. The track is dedicated to "a young man, name of Matthew, who entered my life quite recently. On one occasion, I was feeling frustrated with myself, I couldn't understand why I couldn't be like the people I admired. He kept me Hector that day, he welcomed Denis. For who we are. Thank you, Matthew. Sarning x"

Opening with sharp hi-hats, the track is unequivocally Sulta, boasting woozy synths that perfectly juxtapose the glimmering stabs. Whilst the softer disco signature that defines his earlier work seemingly fades into obscurity, the producer still retains a sophisticated liquid groove to "Matthew Keeps Me Pirrie"—further exemplifying his growth as an artist in versatile flairs.

Denis Sulta—real name Hector Barbour—has rapidly emerged as one of Glasgow's most exciting prospects. His unique sound has been carefully crafted, having earned his reputation and a large part of his musical education and knowledge through working at the internationally renowned Rubadub record store. His meticulous and diverse approach to dance music has seen his stand-out capabilities reach incredible heights, all the while holding down regular and ongoing sets at the world famous Sub Club, and releasing records on influential labels Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Numbers, and his own Sulta Selects. A recent Mixmag cover-star, Sulta has also recently joined BBC Radio 1's Residency show alongside Jayda G, HAAi, Charlotte de Witte and Saoirse.
