Gilles Peterson’s Future Bubblers program has supported some stellar musical talent like Skinny Pelembe, Yazmin Lacey, among many others, and one of the members of the program’s new fourth year crop PSwuave is ready to join the ranks with the release of a music video for her track “Move Fast.” The London-based rapper pairs her slinky vocal delivery with stylish visuals of scenes around her hometown that all provide a fitting showcase of her burgeoning skills and edgy style.

The song’s dark beat and swirling harmonies provide a hazy sonic backdrop for PSwuave’s contemplative lyrics as she grapples with finding her place in the universe amid a society that never stops moving. The scenes of her delivering her lyrics around London reflect a fascinating level of confidence, as if she has opened herself up to the disorientation and found strength in it. PSwuave’s captivating flow and gripping visual aesthetic in the “Move Fast” video show that she will definitely be a name to watch in the future.
