On June 29th, rapper & recording artist Chris James (who releases music as G.U.N), was shot three times outside of a recording studio in LA in a botched robbery. The Sremmlife and 10k Cash affiliate was able to reach the hospital directly after the altercation and had the aftermath chronicled on Instagram live, a clip that went viral on several notable outlets (DJ Akamdemics and No Jumper)
In the days following, the Dallas rapper recorded a somber new single & video directly from the hospital bed entitled "3 Shots", off of his recently released #RobWhoTakeWha EP. It is a deeply personal & honest account of the scene from the perspective of a man who nearly lost it all in an instant. But instead of cowering in fear, he instead proudly vows that "he would rather die than let you n***** take my chains".
