Future bass fans everywhere just spit out their coffee.
Petit Biscuit's latest masterpiece, the electronic tearjerker "We Were Young," has received a shot of adrenaline from red-hot production duo DROELOE. With their signature marching snares and haunting chords, DROELOE, whose song "Sunburn" was featured on EARMILK's list of Best Dance/Electronic Tracks of 2017, remixes the original Petit Biscuit tune into the stratosphere.
A lot of the music between both of these artists features spellbinding future bass drops in half-time, but this time around, the Dutch duo opts for a gorgeous drop in double-time. It has a breaks feel to it, which makes the track more kinetic while still somehow remaining under a hypnotic future bass umbrella. Both DROELOE and Petit Biscuit have the unique ability to produce viscerally instead of technically, time and again delivering intrinsically aching sound design. They also have the uncanny ability to translate it into stunning visuals, evidenced by the official video for "We Were Young."
DROELOE is currently embarking on an international tour that includes performances at HARD Summer and Life Is Beautiful, among other landmark shows.
