Rising Nigerian Alté artist AYLØ returns for the second half of 2019 with a brand new single he calls "Sassy". The genre-bending act brings a wide variety of style to the table, from afrowave and pop to emo-rap. As one of the seminal creatives pioneering this innovative fusion sound, AYLØ is even keener on highlighting the alté movement and community, rather than just the sound. As such, he brings fellow alté forerunners singer Fasina and rapper PsychoYP along for the ride. Each act shares their love for a certain female who exudes what they call the exceptional sassy energy.
"Sassy" is taken from his upcoming mixtape DNT DLT, due out later this summer. This mixtape is the long-awaited and highly anticipated follow up to his critically acclaimed 2017 album Insert Project Name and his 2016 Honest Conversations EP before that. Both records have garnered over a million streams on Spotify and Soundcloud alone, while birthing fan-favorite cult classics such as "Island Girl", "Gardens", and "LITT" along the way.
