pluko puts a dancefloor-ready spin on Big Wild's "Purple Sand"

The East-Coast electronic producer pluko is on a hard come up right now and with no signs of slowing down. He recently released a high-energy eight-track mixtape titled CLASS XIX that displays the wide range of production skills this young producer has been honing in on over the years. His unique talent for creating highly melodic tracks that take advantage of driving vocals separates him from the bass-heavy tech-house or the overly-synth ambient tracks many producers are pushing out right now. His latest remix of Big Wild's "Purple Sand" really displays the producer's confidence in showcasing the versatility a vocal section can provide in a track. Both atmospheric but dance floor ready, prepare yourself to get carried away by pluko's latest remix below:

Big Wild's original version of "Purple Sand" had a bit more of an indie-tinge to it, ready for any sunset playlist. But pluko throws some gasoline on the fire and raises the BPMs, speeds up the melody and gets it ready for a night out. What really stuck out on this remix was pluko's use of the vocals. Big Wild's vocals and lyrical prowess create this beautiful connection with the listener and pluko didn't take that away. Instead, he took advantage of the vocals and rather than drown them out as many producers would have, he utilized them in carrying the new faster-paced melody. You can still sing along to it but also really let loose on the dance floor. You can tell he looked at what makes the track great, what makes the artist great and let's not lose that, while still putting his own unique spin on it. It's the kind of remix treatment that makes pluko such a mindful producer and why he's continuing to gain more and more notoriety.

pluko is currently on tour supporting Australian electronic duo Cosmo's Midnight, check out his upcoming 2019 dates below:
