The Good People are ready to spark off the summer with their brand new EP, but in the interim they share the visuals for their new song "A Summer Night At The Symphony."
The record is a classic posse cut that features underground emcee John Jigg$ and his team MXNXPXLY Family. The intro pays homage to the classic The Juice Crew’s “The Symphony,” which prompts the rappers to go forth and catch wreck on the microphone. Produced by MC/producer The Saint, "A Summer Night At The Symphony" packs the punch of a hot summer afternoon with its smooth keys and neck-snapping drum. Each emcee comes through with their individual styles, from the mellow-voiced Emskee to the slick player demeanor of Jigg$ and his MXNXPXLY Family. The Saint also joins in on the fun towards the tail end with a solid verse of his own. The video, directed by Shock B, shows the quintet spazzing out in some unknown facility. Each emcee plays his position as they lay their raps in tandem while wreaking some havoc in the deserted building.
"A Summer Night At The Symphony" is taken from the upcoming EP The Summer. The six-track affair aims to carry on tradition without sounding retro. Stream/buy it here.
