Solanca delivers a full throttle 5 tracker via Lane 8’s This Never Happened label. Populated with his distinguished synths and sci-fi inspired atmospherics the "Nightshade EP" showcases Solanca’s deep side.
The impactful collection of progressive selections range from the inquisitive, introspective and melancholy whilst maintaining a steady drive throughout the extended play. “Nightshade", the EP’s title track is the embodiment of the dark and broody overtones of the body of work, followed by “Spiraling” taking listeners on a windy ride. “Aconite” maintains melody in minor key creating a sultry soundscape. “Eden" & "Tall Crowns” complete Solanca’s debut EP in a pragmatic fashion.
Solanca’s full EP debut on the label succeeds his initial appearance on the second volume of Lane 8’s Root to Branch series. His return to the label comes with a warm welcome and we're certain the name will become a mainstay on the blossoming progressive imprint.
