Demi Riquísimo brings together elements of acid and disco in 'Mysterious' EP

Following a sold-out pressing of his debut EP A Lifetime On The Hips, UK producer Demi Riquísimo returns with the brand new EP, Mysterious, with the same disco and acid vibes, out now on his own imprint Semi Delicious.

The lead track "Pa De Chevaux" kicks off the EP with a chugging Bootsy Collins-style bassline and filtered funky vocals. The dusty shuffling percussions, playful melody and disco claps will surely get your groove on. Following up, "Certified" starts off with naughty modulated acid-arp basslines and catchy spoken words. The sax-like synths bring in a classical twist in the breakdown. Title track "Mysterious" on the B side is a peak-time burner. 808 kicks work in tandem with fat acid basslines to create this retro disco dazzler. Wrapping the EP up, "Tagine Machine" is inspired by Riquísimo's trip to Morocco. Reimaging Marrakesh's sounds in the filtered days of disco, he mixes futuristic synth sounds with an afro-centric undertone. The track swells with an undeniable need for getting up and dancing by any means necessary.
