esentrik in his own words shares, "during my time with my project TWRK, I helped shape the world of electronic dance music with our 100 bpm, mid-tempo club tracks that resonated around the world. I’m thankful for what the project did to my career but now I want to show the world my sound as 'esentrik.' My solo sound was always driven by R&B/pop, melodic type vibes that I couldn’t really convey in my TWRK project. With this record 'gone,' I wanted to capture the feeling and emotion I was going through at the time. Simply put, I just felt lost mentally with everything in life. Now that I have the platform to show who esentrik is, the sky's the limit."
