Cranked up effervescent rock‘n’roll, Kiwi born Kelsy Karter releases her latest single “What U”. The track highlights energetic electric guitars and thumping drums atop slick sassy vocals. She sings, “you got me intrigued, but don’t fuck with me, I’ve got nothing to lose.” Karter displays a bold attitude and keen sense of confidence as she tells the guy, you better treat me right or I’ll kick you to the curb.

Kelsy Karter co-wrote “What U“ with the same team behind her viral record “Harry”, which took the world by storm after Karter faked a face tattoo of former One Direction singer Harry Styles. Anthony Rossomando and Tony Esterly who served as collaborators on the album, are each distinguished in their own right. Rossomando won a Golden Globe, Grammy, and Oscar for his work on “Shallow” from the movie A Star Is Born and Esterly has worked with such artists as Sia, The Struts, Aloe Blacc and Andra Day. After making worldwide headlines, Karter traveled to the UK as the opening act for The Struts on their tour in February, where she gained acclaim for her outstanding live performances.

Karter's spunky style and daringly defiant nature have made her the dynamic sensation she is today. She showcases distinct classic vibes while still keeping current with an original and authentic take on rock music. Headlining the Moroccan Lounge March 31, be sure to check out her new and exhilarating single “What U” out now.
