When I think of great moments in hip-hop I was fortunate enough to be alive for, the rise of G-Unit is at the pinnacle. Now, there is a grand wave of nostalgia I ride when playing the song on my car radio, but at 13, I felt grown, learning what my body could be capable of under the hooded cover of night. Now that I'm older, I hold a very special place in my heart for the impact the East Coast force not only had on my love for hip-hop but for this genre of love song.
