Vancouver-based producer Hoang releases his first original of 2019 with vocalist, Kianna, entitled "Gone." Following his collaboration "Don't Say," "Gone" premiered on electronic music curator WaveMusic via YouTube and has surpassed 100,000 plays in the first week. With only two releases now under his moniker, Hoang has seen far more success than normal for a brand new act.
"Gone" is a piece that highlights the soothing use of melody and lullaby samples that come together brilliantly. Kianna's vocals are put through a filter as a supporting sample in the background, which brings it all together to create a reminiscent tone of what Owl City's, "Fireflies", achieved years ago. Hoang has continued to stay in line with his first release with an emotive sound with his latest release, creating a brand of his own.
