Fresh off dropping her killer Asuai (Vol. 2) project, Phlow is kicking off 2019 with a new 6-track EP, Gloria, that embodies her growth and experiences in life and the music industry. The EP takes a more melody-driven approach as she dabbles in singing at certain points, while the vocals of crooners Maka, Khandie, and Scarlet shine through as well. Still, Phlow holds her own as the main attraction on every track, with the exception of the EP's intro, featuring Mississippi rapper Vitamin Cea.
Gloria comes on the heels of Phlow's magnetic guest verse on Show Dem Camp's "No White Flags" record. Similar to her past work, on this latest EP she flexes over some Parkay-smooth production thanks to Str8buttah Productions DJ/Producer Teck-Zilla and Echo The Guru. A personal favorite is "You = The Hustle," a slow jammy joint that Phlow skates over with ease.
