A stand out in the flourishing house scene with his unique and gritty sound, Bristol based DJ and Producer Eli Brown has established himself as one to watch for slick productions, expert remixes and hi-octane sets. Releasing on Skream's coveted Of Unsound Mind with his Can You Feel It/Acid Test EP and following up with tracks on Viva, Toolroom, elrow and Repopulate Mars, Brown continues to evolve as a producer and his latest EP is further proof of his abilities and originality.
Incoming via Solardo's Solä label, Another Dimension is the latest offering from Brown with three monster tech house heaters ready for club play. Title track "Another Dimension" opens the EP, and does exactly what it says on the tin. Urgent drum kicks come in straight from the get-go, before a feverish bassline takes over and a suitably enticing vocal sample talks about DMT, other dimensions and reality dissolving in your brain – "Another Dimension" is hypnotic, captivating and a real peak-time journey track. "Low End Theory" follows, another bass-heavy stomper littered with acid sounds before "Hopelessly Addicted" closes the EP, really ramping up the pace with a hint of tribal house and a clever vocal cut from Love Revolution's 1991 hit "Give It To Me Baby".
