Making himself at home on labels like Defected, elrow and Repopulate Mars, Newcastle based DJ and producer Jacky has decided to take his Jacky & Friends party series and make it a home for himself and fellow producer friends. With the events travelling around the world to party hotspots like Croatia and Ibiza, as well as closer to home in Newcastle and Manchester, Jacky has established himself as a line up curator and selector worldwide.
Kicking off the Jacky & Friends label is the man himself with 4-track EP UHH OHH, featuring two originals from Jacky and two remixes courtesy of Huxley and Kreature. Title track "UHH-OHH", featured above, is a bumpy house roller. Set on a foundation of heavy bassline, the 6-minute serving progresses into an all consuming club track with eerie synths and vocal snippets. The release comes before Jacky's tour down under, playing out in 9 venues across Australia and New Zealand.
