Since gaining traction for their 2017 iconic remix of Eric Prydz' "Every Day," gregarious Sydney-based twins Gemellini return to the fray with an infectious double-sided single. Released via Kryder's newly formed Kryteria imprint, "Afterparty" and "Smash The Disco" re-introduces the twins as a force to be reckoned with.
Having already debuted on Kryteria's God Save The Groove compilation, "Afterparty" is a gritty and relentless heavy-hitting tech-house cut. Deep bass lines and modulated drum patterns illuminate Roland Clarke's unmistakable vocals sample from "Da After Party", hitting hard with the tumultuous build up and crisp percussions. On the other hand, "Smash The Disco" continues to upkeep the same level of energy but with a more exotic twist. Utilizing woozy synths, uncompromising sirens, and their signature bouncy drop, Gemellini yet again proves their worth in the tech-house scene.
