22-year old Devon based singer and songwriter Luke Friend follows up his UK Top 40 single "Hole In My Heart" with a new song "Liar". The new song, which Friend says was inspired by heartbreak, is a heavy pop jam where he confronts a lying partner. The production here is pretty massive with its UK Garage-esque undertone and glistening pop arrangements laced with heavy basslines. But, of course, Friend's commanding vocals and storytelling skills take precedence on the track.
Luke Friend has forged his path in the music industry ever since he became the second runner-up at the 2013 X-Factor music competition. He has put the experiences gained into becoming a bonafide musician. "Liar" is his first single since 2016’s "Take On The World" and his UK top 40 charting "Hole In My Heart".
