Q-Unique of The Arsonists fame delivers another gritty banger with the release of the visual for his single “Cult Leader & Capital," complete with a verbal beatdown over the cinematic Sicknature beat. The track title also has another meaning as it is named after both rappers’ nicknames – Q-Unique is often referred to as “Capital” and ILL BILL’s been coined the notorious “Cult Leader”—a moniker that fans first became familiar from the song title of the same taken from Non Phixion’s debut LP, The Future Is Now.
The visual by director Ezru captures the chaotic nature of the single perfectly with its gritty approach. He puts the two figures on the frontline in an unknown location as they plot their next move. The grimy setting couldn’t be more ideal for the duo, as they go back and forth with verbal jabs and uppercuts while paying respect to modern classic films and TV shows including “Breaking Bad,” ‘Casino,’ and even “The Office.”
“Cult Leader & Capital,” is off Q’s recently released LP, The Mechanic.
