Back in August, Australian producer cln shared his new single "Waiting For You", a smooth electronic and R&B stunner. Today he's back with another single, "Own Skin" from his forthcoming debut album.
Taking inspiration from his recent travels to Kruger National Park in South Africa, "Own Skin" came to life. Callan Alexander, aka cln, shares, “The sunsets in the Kruger National Park are very beautiful, and the noises of all the wildlife accompanying them even more so. Those scenes inspired me to finish this song and most of the imagery in the lyrics; it’s about being comfortable with yourself, and not feeling like you have to be someone else.” Sonically cln leans shimmery hi-hats, etheral electronic tones, and a bit of autotune on his own vocals.
