Since bursting onto the underground house scene in 2011, Essex-based DJ and producer Max Chapman has since gone on a rewarding journey of energy, creativity and unconditional passion, pumping out smooth tech-house tracks that has earned him worldwide recognition. The tech-house aficionado has now released his newest 2-track EP Lima – a sensational addition to his sonic repertoire.
Titular track "Lima" is instantly a tech-house classic; tight drums and tribal percussions alongside a sensual exoticism that exudes from the vocal hook, makes for a laid-back, feel-good track. The deep bass line saturates the song with an added layer of alluring mysticism, hooking listeners in and putting them under a spell. On the other hand, "I Make You Go" deploys female vocals once again but in a more sparing fashion, focusing more so on the high-strung percussions as the main attention-grabber. Chapman's creativity and passion can be heard in the extensive versatility he showcases in the tracks, truly proving to us the calibre in which he operates.
