Former Chinese-Korean pop band EXO member Kris Wu teams up with Jhene Aiko on his newest release titled "Freedom". The singer and actor has slowly garnered accolades in both the acting and music industry since he took the solo route. "Freedom" exudes the alternative R&B and modern pop vibes with its lush synth-driven soundscape and groovy hip-hop drums. While the inclusion of Aiko will definitely draw listeners, Wu is not one to sleep on as he literally lifts the track to new heights with his smooth vocal performance.
"Freedom" is the follow-up single to "Like That'". For those that don't know Kris Wu had parts in films like Captain Valerian and the city of a thousand planets (Rihanna, Cara Delevingne), and xXx: Return of Zander Cage (Ruby Rose, Sam L Jackson).
