Founded by Melo-X, NXGN is a collective based out of New York City and are slowly cultivating a fanbase as they impress with their unique approach to music and eclectic personalities. The collective has dropped an impressive collection of music.
At the end of August, NXGN released “Louis Asteroid Belt” – a 5-track project with distinctive production, real storytelling elements and ultimately, just really good music. The fact that they encompassed so much in such a short track-list – says a lot about the potential that NXGN has moving forward.
Alongside dropping music as a collective, the members are keen on dropping their own individual music as well. Two of the members of NXGN – Fresh the Prophet and TyBass – dropped a track titled “RIPS”. “RIPS” is 1 out of 2 tracks from Fresh The Prophet’s solo project “YOUNGBOUL”.
“RIPS” is a standout track as the production is a genius sample of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick”. Fresh the Prophet and TyBass are cleverly rapping and so brilliantly storytelling.
NXGN are bound to dominate individually but also powerfully shine together.
