Just in time to end the summer, British duo AlunaGeorge are back with a wavy new R&B-tinged pop track called "Superior Emotion."
"Superior Emotion" also marks the announcement of a new EP from AlunaGeorge, entitled "Champagne Eyes." The duo built their success on a series of fabulous collaborations, and this track features soul singer Cautious Clay, who provides a gorgeous vocal offset to Aluna Francis.
Although an exploration of the same vein, "Superior Emotion" is also a move in a new direction. Aluna Francis' vocal sounds clear as a bell. The production is smooth and sure of itself. The songwriting is sophisticated. It gives an effortless vibe, like lying in the grass as the weather finally cools down.
