With the recent releases of sizable projects from modern regional legends like P-Lo and Nef The Pharaoh, Bay Area rap is having a great summer. Rexx Life Raj is only continuing this momentum with his new track "Flightman." The song features Chicago rapper Kembe X, who puts his flow on autopilot for a verse that complements Raj's motivational vocals. As always, the Berkeley artist delivers a smooth, melodic rap style; on "Flightman" he sways his vocals to create a winding record that is as catchy as it is confident. Fittingly, the track is a part of the NBA 2K19 soundtrack – but isn't the only record from the game with Rexx Life Raj on it. The Bay Area mainstay is featured alongside Nef The Pharaoh and P-Lo on Cal-A's new banger "We On It" as well.
A slew of hypnotic releases packed with both meaningful lyrics and boastful bars are allowing Rexx Life Raj's career to slowly take flight.
