The five-track project is short, concise and emotionally dense. Each song is heartfelt and traverses across a myriad of love-driven emotions with topics that dwell on challenges in relationships. It's quite interesting the way she keeps the listener engaged with her soulful R&B vibes laced over head nodding beats but more importantly, her lyrics provide a profound insight into her persona. She sure takes time to deliver solid feel good joints fused with relatable topics as opposed to your typical syrupy lovey-dovey songs.
There is so much goodness to pluck out of this short EP From the groovy "Closure", the endearing "Best You ever had", the 00's sounding "Reality Check" to the smooth lushness of the closer "Work". They all provide the perfect balance that drives the energy of the EP. Vonné says the EP was inspired by her life experiences as a young woman trying to figure out this thing called love. She will also be having a ‘Love Games’ EP Launch Party on the 24th July @ THE ISLINGTON ( starts 7 PM).Hosted by Amanda Star with DJ Nadia Jae. Get the EP here
