Returning to the same place where it all started two seasons ago, Afterlife made their debut at the now-upgraded venue of Hï Ibiza last week. Headed up by duo Tale Of Us, the imprint kicked off their 15-week tenure of Thursday night parties with a top-tier selection of techno DJs. For its third year in Ibiza, Afterlife has curated its most impressive visual show yet inside the modern nightclub, see it for yourselves in the gallery below.

Advanced laser shows rose with the beat and spotlight rigs dramatically rained down on the cosmopolitan crowd. While adding an extra dimension, it was in perfect balance with the main musical element. During the opening party it proved no distraction to the dark environment preference of techno fans.

In the Theater, the upside down figurine installation hung below the crowd as Dixon steadily handed over to Tale Of Us who continued well into the morning with their dynamic and emotive take on the genre. Following on from the sounds of Mind Against and the moody spell Recondite had the Club room in, Maceo Plex stepped up next for his first of four sets for Afterlife this summer. Bracing the beefed up sound-system with exciting and groovy techno, the now packed out room reached further peaks along with an equally enthusiastic Maceo.

Afterlife continues up until the closing at Hï Ibiza on October 4th. Upcoming lineups are packed full of diverse and exciting talent including Ben Klock, Helena Hauff and Roman Flügel.
