Back in 2017 Toronto RnB artist Jhyve, was making music for us to feel something. Now he wants us to find "Purpose", which happens to be the title of his new single. The new track is another personal antidote, as Jhyve explores the depth of his relationship, which seems to be falling apart. He shares "Purpose is a song about losing hope in a relationship gone bad. That point when you start to wonder if there’s even a point—when every day becomes another fight. I wanted to capture that hopelessness and that frustration."
Jhyve's vocal work floats smooth along this heavy hi-hat production. You can give it a listen above and catch Jhyve performing throughout North America, as he heads on tour with Jessie Reyez. While new projects haven't been announced, it's safe to assume new music will be on the way this summer. Stay tuned.
