We kick off the week with a poignant record from the 15-year-old emcee, Elijah The Young Prophit. The record aptly titled “Letter 2 Trump" sees the young rapper addressing several social issues and also draws from today’s tremulous political climate under Donald Trump’s command. His vivid writing is heartfelt as he turns his anger and frustrations into affirmative fuel, tactfully displaying wisdom well beyond his years, and using the single as a direct path to positively influence the next generation.
“Letter 2 Trump" is Elijah's first summer release and he teamed up with veteran hip-hop producer Ty Fyffe (whose credits include songs by JAY-Z, Canibus, Rakim among others). Also featured on the record are Da Youngfellaz who lend their vocals on the chorus. His debut project Empire Music Group Presents, Elijah The Young Prophit. was released in March 2018. The young emcee has earned the blessing of music industry vet Erick Sermon, who even has been lending his influential ear and working extensively with Elijah at his Def Squad studios in Long Island
